I'm James, the WPF Dude. My goal is to round up the resources
and publish the content that you need to become productive with WPF and start writing the next generation of applications.
This site is dedicated to information and resources on Microsoft's next generation tool for building windows applications, Windows Presentation Foundation. It was
released with version 3.0 of the .NET Framework, and the tool support has grown with the release of Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.5.
If you are just getting started with WPF development, check out the page on
What You Need in order to get the prerequsites necessary
to saddle up and get ready to code. Then, watch some
Webcasts or buy a
Book.
Once you have an overview of what WPF is, start reading some
Articles and writing some code! One of the best
methods to absorb the "WPF Way" is through experience.
If you love a challenge and want to go beyond a sufficient knowledge of WPF, then consider studying for the
Windows Presentation Foundation certification
exam (70-502).
